The play features parishioners of all ages, as well as members of the award-winning church choir, who will sing choral interludes and carols. Composer, pianist and broadcaster Peter Tiefenbach, who is a member of the choir, has arranged a lullaby for this production. This collaborative effort features both professional and amateur actors, including graduates of Humber Theatre Schools, along with experienced costume designers, set designers, and light and sound experts. St. Thomas's is thrilled to have well-known Canadian artist Tom McNeely paint an original set for the production, designed as a stunning triptych. Tom McNeely is one of Canada's leading illustrators and the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communication.

The Nativity Play is a fundraising project in support of the St. Thomas's Choir tour to England in August 2010. The choristers, under organist and choirmaster John Tuttle, have been invited to serve as choir-in-residence for one week each at Salisbury Cathedral and at St. Paul's, London.
